Wireless USB using the L800, the only Certified Wireless USB device controller chip with both wired and wireless USB connectivity. The L800 utilizes WiMedia UWB technology for adding Certified Wireless USB functionality to peripherals. It interoperates with other Certified Wireless USB devices and manages all the functions required by the protocol - including specialized logic for numeric (wireless) association. Integrating a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, the L800 provides both cable association and wired data transfer without legacy USB firmware modification.
